He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Barton and Lucy Barton (Snider); and his brother Jimmy Barton. He is survived by: his wife Carole Loyd; his daughters, Tamara Correthers (Eric) of Alsip, IL and Daina Wertman (Dave) of Troy, IL; his grandchildren, Rachel Correthers, Eric Correthers, Jr., Olivia Wertman and Anna Wertman; his great grandchild Skylar Berry; his nephew Greg Barton (Margie); his great-nephews, Jake and Dustin; his niece Sherry Harris (Kevin); his great-niece Amanda; and his great-nephew Tyler.
