It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas White of Dix, Illinois, born in Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George S. White and Dorothy Garland White; and his siblings, Bobbie Ray White, Mark White, Kenneth White, Lana Wernsman and Linda Donoho.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Sisson White; his children, Michelle Hall (Jason), Douglas White (Jennifer), Crystal McClintock (Brandon) and Jessica Killman (Scott); his grandchildren, Cody, Collin, Ethan, Jayli, Dylan, Camryn, Mollie, Kaydence, Cohen and Trevor; his great grandchild Liam; his siblings, George W White (Rhonda Morris), Ruby Peleaz of Arizona, Judy Sassorossi of Centralia and Lisa Shoemaker (Jim); and his brothers-in-law, Gene Donoho, Robert Sassarossi and Pete Peleaz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Antioch Christian Church and/or the Oil Belt Christian Service Camp and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the White Family.
