It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Laurent (Divernon, Illinois), born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Barnes and Vurla Cowden Barnes; her husband Jules Laurent, Jr.; her son Steven; and her siblings, Ronald and Sally Young.
She is survived by: her son Stewart Smith; and her sisters, Nell Johnson and Mary Jane Barry. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
