She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Kruse and Effie Cornelia Mattix; and her siblings, Elaine Swisher, Eugene Kruse, Ray Kruse and Darlene Winter.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Amanda; her husband Vernon Green (Red); her sister Roselyn Jones; her children, Cheri Chernisky (Bill) of Indiana, Diane Halbrook-White (Adam), Ron Halbrook, Karen Halbrook and Sandy Panting (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Angela Bolender (Michael), Kristina Halbrook, Lisa Paolucci (Bryan), Victoria Coleman (Shane), Kiley Halbrook (Nick Maton), Cayce Halbrook (Brittany Eakle), Timothy Halbrook, Kodie Panting, Isabella Panting, Raymi Panting and Sean Panting.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Pawnee Library in memory of Dorothy Green.
