He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysious Henry and Rosa Elizabeth Westendorf (Hartman); his son-in-law Richard Wilson; and his siblings, Rita Ulhorn, Mildred Westendorf, Francis Westendorf, John Westendorf and Raymond Westendorf.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha May Westendorf of Dieterich, Illinois.; his children, Gail Westendorf (Linda) of Decatur, Illinois, Mary Wilson of Highland, Illinois and Janet Kocher (Maurice) of St Jacob, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Brian Westendorf (Kristi), Sean James (Brian), Teri Kallal, Michael Volk (Lauren), Justin Kocher (Kelley), Kate Spencer (Gary), Joyce Thole (Joe) and Karen Hopp (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Luke, Evan Westendorf, Nathan, Brayden James, Alyssa, Guinevere, Amber, Benjamin, Vivienne, Scarlett Volk, Hannah, Gavin, Noah Kocher, Ryan Spencer, Charlotte, Evelyn Thole and Ethan Hopp.
