With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth J. Tegeler of Dieterich, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2024 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tegeler and Louise Tegeler (Hoffman); his wife Janet Koester; his brother John; his parents-in-law, Ambrose and Eleanor Koester; and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Koester, Mary Margaret Bloemer, Nancy Koester and Linda Koester.
He is survived by: his children, Cory (Courtney) and Jody Wendt (Eric); his grandchildren, Peyton, Cooper, Brevin Tegeler and Paisley Wendt; his siblings, Tom (Lana), Vernon (Elaine), Rich (Marianne), Don, Dave (Diane), Charlie (Paula), Steve (Lisa), Pat Austin (Steve), Sharon Tebbe (Tom) and Judy Williams (Rex); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Lohman (Paul) and Robert "Bob" Bloemer (Carol Campbell). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
