He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bohnhoff and Della Bohnhoff (Diehl); his wife Alice Janet Wohltman; his sons, Merlin Bohnhoff and Sidney Bohnhoff; and his son-in-law David Walk.
He is survived by: his children, Marceline Kingery (Alan) of Montrose, Illinois, Janice Mellendorf (Kent) of Louisville, Illinois, Brian Bohnhoff (Lisa) of Dieterich, Illinois, Kimberly Walk of Effingham, Illinois, Cindy Hinterscher (Ray, Jr) of Dieterich, Illinois and Dirk Bohnhoff (Laurie) of Effingham; and his siblings, Floyd Bohnhoff (Joan) of Dieterich, Illinois, Norma Jean Suckow of Edgewood, Illinois, Randall Bohnhoff (Donna) of Montrose, Illinois and Robert Bohnhoff (Rose) of Dieterich, Illinois.. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren 33 Great Grandchildren.
In loving memory of Howard, memorials may be made to the St John Lutheran Church special project fund.
