He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peter and Loretta Medernach (Hannan); his siblings, Mary Yager (Gerald), Carolyn Cherwin (Donald), Frank Medernach, Fritz Medernach, James Medernach, John Medernach and Albert Medernach; and his brother-in-law William Frantzen.
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey A. Medernach (Denise Roecker) of Groveland; his grandchildren, Jordan Medernach (Emily Maez), Janelle Esker (Blake) and Jaclyn Turgeon (Dan); his siblings, Marie Frantzen, Dave Medernach (Donna), Bernie Medernach (Marcia) and Gregg Medernach (Gloria); and his sister-in-law Kay Medernach.
In loving memory of Sam, memorials may be made to the Holy Cross Catholic Church Building fund.
