He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Brackney and Bonnie Brackney (Jones); and his father-in-law Celestine Niemerg. He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Niemerg; his wife Sandy of Dieterich, Illinois.; his children, Bridget Bohnhoff (Eric) of Dieterich, Illinois, Michelle Fatheree (Jimmy) of Iuka and William Brackney of Dieterich; his granddaughters, Briley and Berkley Bohnhoff of Dieterich, Illinois.; his brothers, Bill Brackney (Lisa) of Effingham and Doug Brackney (Eric) of Springfield; and his mother-in-law Verena Niemerg of Dieterich.
