She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Shaughnessy and Nathalie Shaughnessy (Clarke); her former husband Robert William Simon (Bob); her husband Ernest; her children, Linda Kinseth (Marc) of Vail, AZ, Jay Simon of DeWitt, IA and Deborah (Joel); her grandchildren, Samantha Simon-Tiger of Wichata, KS and Ryan Kinseth of Winter Gardens, FL; her stepgrandson Dane Conklin Dierickx of Milton-Freewater, OR; her great grandchild Trexton Bowling Indianopolis; her nieces, Ginny, Patty, Bonnie and Nancy Preceding; her sister Kaye Stevenson (Shaughnessy); and her nephew David Stevenson.
