We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2020, at the age of 85, George W. Higgins (Dewitt, Illinois), born in Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Higgins and Sarah Higgins (Moore). He is survived by: his children, Mike Edwards (Carrie) of Weldon, IL, Chris Higgins (Ah-Yuen) of Gilbert, AZ, Vicki Fogerson of Weldon, IL, Lori Cole (Benny) of Heyworth, IL and Tami Fowler (Darin) of Maroa, IL; and his siblings, Robert Higgins (Bernadine) of Chestnut, IL and Joanne Krall of Argenta, IL.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, private family services will be Friday, May 22, 2020 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Jim Kilson officiating.
Memorials may be directed to the Lane Christian Church.
