Doris Snider Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Snider of DeSoto, Illinois, who passed away on November 25, 2024 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Snider to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Knight and Viola Knight; her husband Ralph Snider; her sister Jere Eisenbeis; her son Larry Snider; and her son-in-law Leon Byrnes.
She is survived by: her children, Jeri Webb of Herrin, Scott Snider of DeSoto, Cindy Barnett (Dennis) of Desoto, Kim Stodghill (Jim) of Tampa and Gary Snider (Michelle) of Georgia; and her close friends, Betty Jennings, Frankie and Jim Holsonbake. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Meredith Funeral Home (300 S University Ave, Carbondale, IL 62901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the De Soto City Cemetery (212 S Ash St, De Soto, IL 62924).
