Vaughn of DeSoto, Illinois, born in North Prairie, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 86, on December 17, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Walter and Bernice Griep (Orth); her husband Evan Eugene "Gene" Vaughn; and her siblings, Judy Obenauf, Jerome and Gerald Griep.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Cairns (Brian); her grandchildren, Dan Cairns, John Cairns (Ana) and Ryan Cairns; her great grandchildren, Madison Cairns, Agnes Cairns, Amiela Cairns and Walter Cairns; and her siblings, Darlene Dahm and Robert Griep (Lucille).
Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Carterville First Baptist Church.
