He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ewald and Maurine; his wife Louise; his daughters, Anita Shears (Fred), Karen Niehaus and Linda Caruso (Robert); his grandchildren, Laura Shears (Peter Kleczynski), Jaclyn Shears (Matt Goetz), Nicolette Caruso (Matt Wilson), Anthony Caruso and Adam Caruso; and his siblings, Gerald Niehaus (Joan), Evelyn Peters (Niehaus), Wayne Niehaus and Frances Niehaus.
