He is survived by: his sister Elaine Haberstroh; his children, Laurie Peterson (Norm), David Nelson (Debbie), Dan Nelson (Lori) and Jim Nelson (Andrea); his daughter-in-law Linda Nelson; his grandchildren, Mindy Zurcher (Jon), Jenny Blechl (David), Brad Peterson (Kelsey), Michael Nelson (Jamie), Robert Nelson (Sydney), Steven Nelson (Diana), James Nelson, Maddy Spranger (Tim), Thomas Nelson, Molly Nelson, Erik Nelson, Mikayla Nelson, Katie Nelson, Ashley Behrens, Brandon Behrens, Jake Nelson, Daniel Nelson (Haley) and Sam Nelson; and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Bria, McKenna, Caden Zurcher, James, Ryan, Claire Blechl, Logan, Avery, Isabelle Nelson, Luka Nelson, Oliver, Patrick, Eloise Spranger, Hazel, Luna and Teddy Nelson.
