He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Puls and Gertrude Puls; and his wife Sylvia. He is survived by: his children, Judy Manning (Dave), Rich Puls, Donna Turetgen (Levent) and David Puls (Beth); his grandchildren, Richie, Emma, Neyla, Melisa, William and Sam; his cousin Nancy Pavlick; his sister-in-law Susan Puchalla (late Christopher); and his nieces and nephews, Jenny, Julie, Chris and Dan.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Misericordia are appreciated by the family.
