He was predeceased by: his parents, Young Sup Lim and Kee Boon Koo. He is survived by: his wife Sinja Suh; his children, John (Semi), Sharon (Dan) and Tom (Esther); and his grandchildren, Annabelle, Hannah, Lorelai, Abigail, Matthias, Eleanora and Bennett.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oehler Funeral Home (2099 Miner St, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Ridgewood Memorial Park (9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
