With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Liesel Schroeder of Des Plaines, Illinois, who passed away on May 3, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Katharina Martens and Johann Martens; her husband Albert "Al"; her son Carl; and her siblings, Johann, Tina, Miche and Leni.
She is survived by: her sons, Rudy (Sheryl) and Fred (Robin); her grandchildren, Krisann (Andy), Aaron (Jen) and Ashley (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Haylee, Jack Vistica, Brody and Rex Schroeder.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, the longtime church family of both Liesel and Al.
