As Kathleen departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kathleen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kathleen leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde Barnes; her daughter Carolyn Maringer; her brother Norman Karr; and her parents, Kleo Karr and Anna Viola Karr.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Barnes (Teri), Karl Barnes (Mary), Gail Bradley (Brian), Bonnie Gaynor (Mike) and Lisa Hartness.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (668 Graceland Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
