June Sommers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Sommers of Des Plaines, Illinois, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though June may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those June touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olivia (James Ralph) and June; her husband Gerald Sommers; and her sister Laverne. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Froelich, Maureen McNeil (Herb), Doreen Burton (Michael) and Jerry Sommers (Julie). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
