With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Saia (Des Plaines, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Salera and Dora Salera (Napolitano); her husband Joseph Saia; her siblings, Anna Marie Salvaggio, Tina Leone and Andrew Salera; and her daughter-in-law Carol Anne Saia.

She is survived by: her sons, Phillip S. Saia (Peggy), Andrew L. Saia and Joseph A. Saia (Diane); her grandson Andrew J. Saia; her stepgrandchildren, Arden Casteel, Stewart Casteel, Theodore Casteel, Samuel Tuckey, Jamie McDole and Julie McDole Goldberg; and her sisters, Phylis Patinella and Antonette Burdi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Josephine's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
