He is survived by: his daughters, Reyne Marasa and Carol Bowie; his sister Annette Marzano; his grandchildren, Michael Malek (Joscelynne), Rachele Vigo (Miguel), Jeffrey Malek (Joanna), Andrew Malek, Colleen and Kimberly Bowie; and his great grandchildren, Mila Bowie, Lucille Malek, Oliver Malek, Mav Vigo, Eloise Malek, Hadley Bowie and Ben Vigo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oehler Funeral Home (2099 Miner St, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (794 Pearson St, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
