Helga Wehking Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2023, at the age of 92, Helga Wehking of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Kurt Wehking; her daughters, Christine Scott (Michael) and Karin Wehking; and her grandchildren, Bryan and Jennifer Scott. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer society at cancer.org.

“Helga was a wonderful friend to my Mother Mitzi at Brookdale. They shared many good times together as dinner companions and neighbors. I wrote an email to Helga at Thanksgiving and was concerned that I did not hear back from her. I send prayers to her daughters and family. The loss of my Mom in August is still hard. So my heart goes out to you during this time. I hope Helga and Mitzi are reunited once again. Cindy”
