It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Meyer (Des Plaines, Illinois), who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Meyer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Bernadette L. Meyer; his daughter Carol J. Meyer; his parents, George and Rose; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Dorothy; and his daughter-in-law Marsha.
He is survived by: his children, Edward H. Meyer, Jeanne Bidlack (Lawrence) and Rosemarie Meyer; and his grandchildren, Erin Meyer, Courtney Harless (Matt), Cameron Meyer, Tess Meyer, Colton Bidlack, Jacqueline Bidlack and Samantha Bidlack.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the family kindly requests any attendees to wear face masks.
He lived by example making weekly contributions to the local food pantry, and to many other charities throughout his life.
