It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Michalek of Des Plaines, Illinois, born in Berwyn, Illinois, who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former spouse Cyrill "Cy" Michalek; her son Steven Michalek; and her parents, Hugh Howell and Stella Howell. She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Griffith (Stephen); and her grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren and Tyler.
