Frank Kotnaur Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Kotnaur Jr. of Des Plaines, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kotnaur and Catherine Kotnaur; his uncle John Joy; his aunt Sister Catherine Ellen Joy; and his brother-in-law Ted Kalinowski.
He is survived by: his sister Catherine Kalinowski; his children, Christina Kotnaur, Victoria Vargas (Daniel) and Michael Kotnaur; his niece Katie Lanter (Ryan); his nephew Teddy Kalinowski (Jenny); and his grandson Ethan Vargas.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the G. L. Hills Funeral Home (745 Graceland Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A prayer was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (794 Pearson St, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
