She was predeceased by: her parents, Andres and María of Jesus Lázaro; and her daughter Alma Angelina. She is survived by: her children, José Asunción Pérez (Maria Guadalupe), María Guadalupe Whitmore, Miguel Pérez (Luz Evelia), Susana María Hecathorn (Richard), Santiago Pérez (Sylvia), Manuel Pérez (Mary) and Matthew Pérez (Martha). She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and her large extended family.

In lieu of flowers, Elisa's family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
