She was predeceased by: her husband Timothy Burkwest; her stepchild Jamieson Burkwest; and her brother Dennis Morton. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Weissman, Kevin Chester (Kim) and Patrick Chester (Trish); her stepdaughter Erica Burkwest; her grandchildren, Jeff Weissman (Kate), Glenn Weissman, Michelle Chester and Abbey Chester; and her siblings, Patsy Crockford (Don), William Morton (Janice) and JoAnne Morton (Graham Skinner).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooney Funeral Home (625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068).
