She was predeceased by: her spouse Calogero Sammartino; her daughter Vita Digiorgio (Paul); her brother Vito Nieli (Vita); and her parents, Giuseppe Nieli and Vita Nieli.

She is survived by: her daughter Maria Woltmann (Dale); her grandchildren, Anthony Digiorgio (Nicholette) and Marcello Woltmann; her great grandchildren, Vitarose, Sofia, Pauly and Nico; and her sister Rosa Sanfilippo (Frank).
