She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Ellis and Stella Ellis (Shipp); her husband John Edgar Steele; her daughter Karen; and her siblings, John F. Ellis, Jr., Gerald Ellis and Cheryl Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Johnna Pohlson (Michael) of Granville and Bryan Steele (Tabatha) of Chillicothe; her grandson Noah Pohlson; and her brother Gayle Ellis of DePue.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barto Funeral Home (120 W Cleveland St, Spring Valley, IL 61362). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
