He was predeceased by: his significant other Stacy Aden (Manahan); his brother Bill; and his father LeRoy Aden. He is survived by: his children, Jonathon Aden (Samantha) of Downs, Jacob Aden (Michelle) of Princeton and Stephanie Combites (Adam); his siblings, Lisa and Steve Coutee; his grandchildren, Atticus, Gavin, Lillian and Monroe; and his loyal companion Pickles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many "adopted" children and grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Community United Methodist Church (73 N Main St, La Moille, IL 61330). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
