With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carolyn Floyd of Depue, Illinois, whose life came to an end on March 29, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Repulski (Ugasco) and John Repulski; and her sister Janice Shewchuk. She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Reed (Jerry) of Princeton and Janda Schleder of Bloomington, IL; and her grandchildren, Curtis, Luke, Lindsay and Grant. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (312 Park St, DePue, IL 61322). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In Carolyn's honor, memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church in DePue or to Illinois Valley PADS.
