It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Pitts of Dennison, Illinois, born in Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Pitts and Ruby Culter Pitts; his wife Clara Pitts; his daughter Linda Horsley; and his siblings, Kenneth Pitts, William Pitts, Dorothy Woods, Virginia Ellingsworth, Patricia Rooks, Hazel Pitts and Flossie Pitts.
He is survived by: his children, Terrie Wilde, John Pitts (Cheryl), Robert Pitts, II, Ronald Pitts and Bradley Pitts (Christine); his siblings, Jerome Pitts, Kate Orman and Darlene Plue; and his son-in-law Gary Horsley. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
