Ray A. Farris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray A. Farris of Dennison, Illinois, who passed away on June 2, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry B. Farris and Nora Ruth Setzer Farris; his wife Helen Hornbrook; his grandson Lance Farris; his son-in-law Mike Hershfelt; and his siblings, Roy Farris and Mary Farris.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Farris (Julie) of Dennison, IL, Michelle Farris Hershfelt of Decatur, IL, Pamela Farris Conine (Les) of Pocahontas, IL and Penny Farris Plyman (Darrell) of Nicholasville, KY; his sister Una Boyer of Marshall, IL; and his grandchildren, Aaron Farris (Jessica), Amie Farris, Blake Farris, Emily Barnard (Denise), Shanna Barnard (Adam), Tracy Smithers (Jess), Randi Howell (David), Crystal Hays (Mike), Ashley Goodson (Matt), Clayton Conine (Robin) and Kyle Conine. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
