He was predeceased by: his father Grover Lee Christy; his former wife Glenna Christy; his mother Dorothy Christy; his brothers, Larry Christy and Terry Christy; and his sister-in-law Linda Christy.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Viola Christy (Hamilton); his daughter Nancy Storm (Scott) of Donovan; his grandchildren, Anna Storm and Alex Storm; his sister-in-law LaRita Christy; and his nephews, Allen Christy, Bryan Christy, Larry Wayne Christy and Austin Christy.
