He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cannaday and Ruth Swalls Cannaday; his brothers, Rollie Galey and John Cannaday; his siblings-in-law, Charles Dunham and Pauline Galey; and his nephews, Charles Dunham, Jr. and Jack Galey.
He is survived by: his sisters, Freda Smith (Plen) and Doris Dunham; and his sister-in-law Marietta Cannaday. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
