Lawrence M. Tammeus Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence M. Tammeus of Delavan, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilke C. Jr. Tammeus and Ida "Kate" Goeken Tammeus; his siblings, Wilber, Angelina and Esther; and his son-in-law Kevin Diekhoff.
He is survived by: his wife Velma Tammeus; and his children, Steven Tammeus (Elizabeth) of The Villages, FL, Cynthia Diekhoff of Bloomington and Sally Wilson (Jim) of Delavan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate, Ladies Cemetery Association, or Delavan United Methodist Church.
