George Carson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Carson of Delavan, Illinois, who passed away on July 22, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Carson and Lucile Carson; and his brother Buddy. He is survived by: his wife Donna Evans of Canton, IL; his children, Karen Harmon of Delavan, IL and George Michael Carson (Debbie) of Beaumont, TX.; his grandsons, Daniel Sawyer of Anchorage, AK and Michael Sawyer of Delavan, IL; his stepgrandchildren, Teresa Short of Tucson, AZ, Scott Harmon (Heather) of Mapleton, IL and Steven Harmon of Pekin, IL.; and his siblings, Pat Stairwalt of Canton, IL, Judy Purtle of Port St and Jack Carson of Canton, IL.. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, and one step-great-great grandson.

They returned to Illinois in 2008 to be near family after Donna became very ill with Parkinson's disease.
