With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheryl L. Whisman (DeLand, Illinois), born in Sullivan, Illinois, who passed away on June 24, 2018 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brown and Carol Brown of Terre Haute, IN; and her sisters, Cathy Copeland (Larry) of Farmersburg, IN and Jamie Isabell (Kelly) of Shelburn, IN.. She is survived by: her husband Donald Whisman of Deland; and her children, Christie Taylor (Andrew) of Gastonia, NC, James Spicer (Laura) of Farmer City, IL and Hollie Spicer of Deland, IL. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or ASPCA.
