He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace W. Myers and Grace Myers (Rohlick); his former wife Joan Myers (Ness); and his wife Audrey Myers (Klien). He is survived by: his girlfriend Donna Biehl of DeKalb; his daughter Ruth A. Myers of DeLand, FL; his granddaughter Tammy Castro (Roberto) of Rochelle; his great grandchildren, Mario, Mercedes and Marco Castro of Rochelle; his great great grandchildren, Natalia and Franco Castro; his sisters, Sandra Finnan, Ardith Hansen (David) and Gayle Meier; his daughters, Mary Jo Myers-Garcia and Joyce M. Myers; and his siblings, Beverly Thryselius, Connie Hudson and David Myers.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family to be established at a later date.
