With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Sheppard of DeKalb, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Steven departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Steven may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Steven leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Sheppard and Sara Sheppard; and his brother David. He is survived by: his children, Olivia Dohr (Richard), Hank Sheppard (Sarah) and Hannah Sheppard; his grandchildren, Clark and Raegan; his sisters, Sandra Nelson and Glenda Kwosek; and the mother of his children Desiree Sheppard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
