It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger A. Scott of DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline Scott and Elmer Scott; and his brothers, Russell E. Scott, Charles W. Scott, Wallace J. Scott and Merle L. Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his brother Wilbur B. Scott; his sister-in-law Mildred C. Scott; and his children, Nathan Scott (Erica), Heather Rexroad, Daniel Scott (Christina), Thomas Scott, Angie Scott, Ebony Scott, Alex Scott (Stephanie), David Scott, Ashton Scott, Evalina Scott and Bella Scott. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bethany Road Bible Church (2215 Bethany Rd, DeKalb, IL 60115). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Roger requested that memorials be gifted to the DeKalb/Sycamore chapter of Love In The Name of Christ, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit.
