He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey C. Hartwig of Rochelle, Illinois, Laura A. Winnett (David) of Novato, California and Debra L. Hartwig of Rochelle, Illinois; his granddaughter Megan E. Winnett; his daughters, Chloe J. Winnett and Gabrielle C. Winnett; and his former wife Kathleen M. Hartwig Verbeck (Stenquist). He is also survived by extended family and great friends.
