He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Knudson and Anna Knudson (Peterson); and his siblings, Jenny, Clara and Clarence.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Butz of Belvidere; his sons, Dale (Karen) and Duane (Cindy); his grandchildren, Angela Cambier (Todd), Stephanie Knudson, Michael Knudson (Alexandra) and David Knudson (Rebecca); and his great grandchildren, Jack, Gus Cambier, Lucia, Finn and Theodore O'Brien.
