He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Watson and Harriet Watson (Ruffner); his wife Marcia M. Jameson; his brother Reider Watson; his sister-in-law Wilma Watson (Sanderson); his sister Elizabeth Williams; and his close friend Merilyn Scholl.
He is survived by: his children, John (Dodi Georges), Nancy Pesavento (David) and Gayle Effinger (Mike); his grandchildren, Johnny Watson, Margaret Boudreaux (Doug) and Jacob Watson; his great grandchild Norah Watson; and also Joanna Kimber. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115). A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
