He was predeceased by: his parents, David Franklin and Margaret Franklin (Gittleson); and his brother-in-law Donald Thompson. He is survived by: his son Joshua Franklin (Andrea); his grandson Christopher; his siblings, James Franklin (Mary), Sharon Thompson and Jill Parrish (Lee); and the mother of his child Kathee Franklin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115).
