He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Gunther and Alfhild Gunther (Wellander); his son Jeffrey; and his sisters, Shirley, Helen and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra B. Voris of DeKalb; his children, Kenneth Gunther (Robin) of Yorktown, VA and Nicole Bledsoe (Victor) of DeKalb; and his grandchildren, Chloe Gunther of Yorktown, VA and Connor Gunter of Yorktown, VA.
