He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Slade and Mary Slade (Potter); and his brothers, Richard and Gary Slade. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Pennel; his children, William Slade (Teresa) of Ashton and Cindy Slade of California; his stepchildren, Charlie Pennel (Suzy) of Cambridge, MA, David Pennel (Sherri) of Elmhurst, Paul Pennel (Janet) of West Dundee, Ralph Pennel (Samantha) of Endicott, NY and Mary Pennel (Jim Gormley) of Monona, WI; and his siblings, Kenneth Slade (Jodi Willrett) of Malta and Melinda Slade of Mentor, OH.. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren.
