She was predeceased by: her husband David Carey; her daughter Linda; and her siblings, Martha Flavin, Ingrid Hakala, Eva Nelson, Neilo and Henry Maki.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Densborn (Bruce), Sandy Woodin (Ted) and Tom Carey (Sandy); her grandchildren, Richard Newtson, Lori Grubbs, Shannon Potter, Shane Carey, Chris Densborn, Sara Dumdie and Matt Dumdie; and her great grandchildren, Meagan, Paige, Jared, Conor, David and Michael. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
