It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Hanssen of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Harwood Heights, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Marian Hanssen (Marquardt). He is survived by: his father Earl Hanssen of Rockford; his wife Lynn Devers; his children, Don Devers of DeKalb and Susie Grainger (Brian) of Sycamore; his grandchildren, Hailey, Karley, Kyra, Briden, Kloe and Braysen; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Harper, Ashtyn and Faith; and his siblings, Ellen Addy of Wonderlake, Gary Hanssen of Crystal Lake, Julie Gehringer (Matt) of Marengo, Jeanne Arndt of Marengo and John Hanssen (Jennifer) of Marengo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
